Apparently this plant is supposed to bloom only in the spring...kind of hard to believe when it has been blooming on and off all season! But, hey, I'm okay with that! This picture doesn't do justice to the lime-yellow margins on each leaf which make the deep magenta flowers pop! It also has a great orange-red color in the fall. Full sun to part shade, 6'x4', and zone 4.
